If you are looking for an uplifting and brilliantly entertaining show to finish off your Edinburgh Fringe day, then Hail Mary is the place to go.

Mary Mac looks stunning in her big black furry coat, although under those lights, I can only begin to imagine how hot she was. When she removes her coat, the black and white Tartan dress underneath is absolutely stunning.

Born and raised in Glasgow, Mary Mac has a special place in her heart to be performing in Scotland. With all of her performances across the globe and performing on various cruise ships for many years. Hail Mary is her first ever show at the Edinburgh Fringe. Although as a seasoned performer, you wouldn’t know it was her first.

The show is a mixture of humour, some audience interaction as expected from a drag artist, and a range of brilliant impersonation singing. If you haven’t seen Mary Mac as Cher, then you are in for a real treat.

There’s also a brief lesson for anyone in the audience who doesn’t understand what “Grindr” is and how it is used. It’s a fairly tame description, so if you don’t know anything about it, don’t worry, it’s not a particularly graphic explanation. Enough for you to know about preferences.

The hour long show felt like ten minutes. She’s an engaging and charismatic queen who deserves to perform to sell out audiences. Catch her while she is performing on the home ground before she sets sail again to entertain the “cruising” customers once again across the seven seas.
