Adam Larter takes us on a trip back to the 90s,, with his show Adam Larter: Who Remembers the 90s?a period that many will remember and look bavk on with great fondness, and this show does not disappoint in bringing this decade back to life.
The show uses videos and images projected onto a large screen at the back of the stage, along with strong lighting to allow the audience to keep up with all the things taking place on stage.
Adam has made a large number of great props, which are used throughout, all of which relate to the 90s, and this includes giving some of them to the audience to use at various times during the show, audience participation is optional.
The songs chosen are from the period, but Adam has used completely different words and uses the props he has produced, which relate to the songs. We, as the audience, are encouraged to sing along or shout out the words displayed on the screen, rather than the ones we are already familiar with.
Throughout the show, Adam changes his outfits several times, and all of these costumes relate to the songs he sings, although the lyrics might be different from what you remember.
He also projects well-known television comedy from the 90s Good Night Sweetheart where Gary played by Nicholas Lyndhursth has two girls’ friends one in the present day and me set during World War II.
Towards the end of the show, Adam came off the stage into the audience and moved around jumping through hulahoops .
He has an unbundance of energy, which he puts into the show. Its great fun show where the whole audience got involved, and its clear that they enjoyed themselves.
