Sea Words by Olly Gully.

Sea Words by Olly Gully follows an old-style seaside entertainer show by Chris who is one half of a double act with his Mother Christine. Her reluctance to come out from behind the seaside-themed curtains suggests there’s a problem.

Gully’s over-the-top all smiles and energetic performance leads the audience through the selection of made-up adventures displayed on laminated sheets, one of which requires audience participation to go North Channel swimming don’t worry you don’t get wet.

The seaside show is based upon the pair working together and performing their way through the tasks. However, due to Christine staying behind the curtains, he is forced to improvise and pretend that he has the whole show under control. Which he sort of does!

However, as the show goes on the audience realises that Chris is hiding a painful secret which he is attempting to hide with exaggerated seaside humour and lots of very silly behaviour and tongue-in-cheek gags.

One thing is guaranteed though, Chris is completely out of his depth and needs someone to throw him a lifebuoy.
