The audience is invited to a taster Afternoon in Sutton Coldfield step back into 1995. Tea, quirky culinary delicacies and an insight into the lives of the five ladies who run the club all combines for An Afternoon with the Ladies of the Cliff Richard Fan Club, Sutton Coldfield 1995.
Each of the members has their backstory and reasons why the club and other members mean so much to them. Cliff Richards’s music and concerts unite them through tragedy and loss. His music is the one thing that can be depended upon and there’s a song for every occasion. No matter what life has thrown at them his music will always be there.
There are a few questions and answers about Cliff throughout the show, might be an idea to polish up your general knowledge about the singer. These ladies know pretty much everything there is to know about him. Joining in isn’t mandatory though.
After the show, you’re invited to capture the moment and have a selfie taken with the man himself, albeit a life-size cardboard cut out of Cliff, who has resided at the edge of the stage throughout the performance making sure nothing goes wrong.
It’s an entertaining and welcoming way to spend an hour at the Edinburgh Fringe, you don’t have to be a fan to enjoy it. For more information and to book tickets please visit the link below.
