If you are a fan of The Play That Goes Wrong then BAD PLAY is going to be a “must-see” on your Edinburgh Fringe watch list this year.
Two sons, worlds apart. One goes to fight for his country in the army the other goes to maximum security prison. Mother and Father muddle on regardless while their sons are away doing whatever it is they do, “Living the American Dream” I guess. However, once both the sons return personalities clash and the hilarious chaos resumes at high speed.
Comedy of this calibre and acting badly on purpose takes a lot of work. You might get lost along the way watching this but the cast of four is superb throughout the performance. I had no idea what to expect and was still not sure what was going on half the time! All part of the Fringe experience.
It’s even worth reading the programme as the comedy continues in there too along with the cast’s American dreams. Plus a star guest “sort of” makes an appearance.
A great Fringe comedy with an excellent talented cast. For more information please check out the link below and have a few laughs on them.
Looking back at my original biography section on here I can see how far my writing life has gone. With two Edinburgh Fringe seasons behind me and a huge variety of Theatres visited things have grown beyond my wildest dreams.
I now write for my own blog, London Theatre Reviews and Broadway Baby. On top of this I am an Off West End Senior Assessor and throughout lockdown helped turn the Oncomm into a success and watched Scenesaver become a huge success. Recently I was on the panel to vote for Scenesaver production awards. It has been an amazing journey and I am looking forward to the Theatres reopening next week (from 17th May 2021). My original introduction is underneath as a reminder to myself of just how far I have come. Long may it continue.

I am a fourty something, mother of 4 who wants to try my hand at writing reviews. All blogged reviews are my personal opinions. Any event blogged I will have personally attended.
