Sinderella London’s Naughtiest Adult Panto-Scala London.

Sinderella London’s Naughtiest Adult Panto delivers exactly what it says in the title. Fairy Godmother (Isobel Grace) introduces the audience to the familiar Pantomime’s storyline where the downtrodden “Sinderella” goes to the ball and meets Prince Charming. Or in this case Prince Donkey Dick (Kevin Mornas) there’s no denying how he got that name by looking at the side of his trousers.

Regina Sparkles certainly does sparkle in the lead role of Sinderella. The innocent younger sister of her two older sisters Armani (Simon Gross) and Primani (Gerrard Woodward) the “cheaper” ugly sister.

As expected they are cruel to Sinderella and treat her like a slave. Her only true friend is Buttons (Ronan Evan Johnson) who adores Sinderella but never makes it out of the “friendzone”.

If you are easily offended then Sinderella London’s Naughtiest Adult Panto isn’t the seasonal treat for you. However, if you like outrageously funny ugly sisters, a fabulous drag artist, and a brilliant cross-section of music then this Pantomime offers great entertainment for you. All the cast sing live and sound fantastic.

A special mention has to go Frankie Duncan in his stage debut. Taking on the main role of Dandini and a range of minor roles including a lost Dick Whittington who found himself in the wrong Pantomime.

As it was opening nights I dare say there were a few things that didn’t go to plan, a few fluffed lines and scenery gaffs. Or was there? In the world of Pantomime, you can never be sure what is done on purpose for “laughs” or is a genuine mishap. Whatever the case may be, it made no difference to the enjoyment of the majority of the audience who joined in when asked.

If you’d rather not be “picked on” then follow the normal rule and don’t sit in the front couple of rows. You are almost guaranteed to become one of the chosen few who are spoken to throughout the show and there were some fantastic participants.
