Alex Prescot-Edinburgh Fringe 2025.
Prescot with 1 T.

Alex Prescot has had a busy Edinburgh Fringe. He is part of the five-star awarded A Jaffa Cake Musical and performing his solo show Cosy.

Cosy comes complete with pillows to make sure the audience are comfortable and remains Cosy throughout the show.

Alex begins by explaining that he was part of a double act and he enjoyed that, and one day, his comedy partner told him he was leaving. Which he promptly did and moved to Australia. Be warned he has a slight grudge against anything Australian.

The show is part spoken, comedy and improvised songs helped by members of the audience. Each show will be slightly different as they are improvised abd designed around each audience.

Although Alex says he is on the lookout for a new comedy partner. However, he is very capable, confident and likeable performing solo. The audience appeared to be with him throughout and were happy to interact and be involved when asked. Some even got extra cushions for being nicer.

Cosy is a funny and nice way to spend an hour just before lunch at the Edinburgh Fringe. Prescot is talented and clearly enjoys what he is doing. I don’t personally think he needs to be in a double act, if he finds a comedy partner in crime I would definitely return to see their show.
