A Bad Taste Show offers a selection of comedy sketches that border on and crossover into bad taste. Although apparently on the day I saw it the audience was quieter than in previous ones. I thought they appreciated the “bad taste” humour and were laughing.
The selection is funny and has a few cringe moments, but then is it actually bad taste comedy if you don’t cringe at times?
The cast of four plays a range of characters from the Dominatrix Mum who is introduced to her son’s girlfriend while she still has a client in the house, the married couple who can only become aroused by performing household chores (foreplay comes in all shapes I guess), the one I found funniest was the lady trying to return her child to the NHS because it arrived two weeks late and appears to be broken (crying and pooing) sadly I wouldn’t put that past some people either! Definitely a do not try this at home, however tempting especially with teenagers.

The team have the type of show that can be a family friendly version like the Edinburgh Fringe one and they could create an edgy adults only version and plunge into darker comedy, which I believe they have the skill set to do.
There’s a good rapport between the cast of four and the age range allows them to cover more topics without requiring loads of additional props. This comedy show has definitely got a future ahead.

It’s a typical Fringe show in the current format and if you’re lucky you might get a free badge too, if there’s any left. Who doesn’t like a free badge?
They are taking the show to the Lambeth Fringe in October, the link for this is below.
