Elon Musk:Lost in Space-Edinburgh Fringe 2025.

Different emotions can be triggered when the name Elon Musk is mentioned. With a title such as Elon Musk:Lost in Space for many, it sounds like a dream come true.

Sarah Lawrie plays the onboard AI robot “M-UTHA” who is jetting into Space with the billionaire Elon Musk played by Ben Whitehead (voice of Wallace in Wallace & Gromit).

Lawrie looks striking dressed head to toe in gold alongside Whitehead dressed in a space boiler suit equipped for a long journey into Space.

Writer David Morley takes Musk on a fantasy journey into Space and all he has for company is his AI companion. After a call from Trump, Musk realises that this mission could be the end and needs to find out how he can change his flight path.

The late scientist Sir Patrick Moore and Professor Brian Cox although Musk doesn’t particularly value their expert advice.

There are references and a few similarities to the hugely popular sci-fi film Total Recall which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger when he played the role of Douglas Quaid who recolocated to Mars.

It’s funny and current and picks up on the failings of Musk as a present father especially at the end when a couple of them have sent messages to him and perhaps maybe reflects on what might have been important!

In the current climate there are going to be many people who would like to see these events become a reality. Although I am not sure Musk would see the funny side of this play!
