Who doesn’t feel that they need to reset their lives partway through the year sometimes? Brooke wants to do just that and everyone is welcome to join her to bring in the New Year early and reset her life.
New York Comedian Brooke discusses how she changes her life every New Year’s Day, with the plan to keep it on a more positive path. Eating healthier, exercising and cutting back on alcohol are all on the agenda. Isn’t that how many start the New Year? Then fail miserably.
Brooke has an abundance of energy, new ideas and charisma. She brings many topics into her show from patriarchy, fertility, and alternative political candidates, along with online dating. Especially online dating.
Being single Brooke is feeling the pressure surrounding her to find a partner and to keep her family happy by settling down and living happily ever after! Her hunt on “all” the dating apps is proving fruitless, and even checking out her exes that could have had potential isn’t proving very successful either.
Unfortunately, there are times during the performance when Brooke‘s moving through some of the explanations too fast and I couldn’t understand some of the things she was talking about or what the punchlines were, which is a real pity.
Watch this space though as Brooke is planning on running for president one day, anyone watching the show could have met a future leader! After all, anything can happen at the Edinburgh Fringe.
