Tiff Stevenson-Edinburgh Fringe 2025-Part of July Challenge.

Tiff Stevenson is a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe and has taken some time out to talk to me about her upcoming show which will be on during August.

When were you last performing at the Edinburgh Fringe?

I’m here every year, I keep coming back every summer, like thrush.

What was the name of your previous show?

Husband Material

How long has your current show been running for?

My new show Postcoital is minty fresh and premiering at the fringe

Do you have any “good luck” rituals you undertake before performing?

Yes I bathe in the blood of my enemies.

How have you found booking accommodation this year?

I’m very lucky I stay in the same place every year. I rent from some lovely people who want to support performers. I literally couldn’t do it without their kindness. The fringe is getting gross and greedy and if performers can no longer afford it how will it exist?

What three pieces of advice would you give to first-timers going to the Fringe?

Hydrate, call friends and family outside of the fringe bubble to keep a sense of perspective, and swim. If you are not in the habit of meditation get in the habit. Be tender to yourself. Don’t read reviews whilst still at the fringe, save that for after. Try not to ignore all this advice and think you know better. Trust me

What are your plans after the Edinburgh Fringe is over?

A holiday then a long flight to do more in Australia!

Performing at Monkey Barrel: Hive 1 from the 1st to the 24th of August.
