Mary, Queen of Rock!

 

How long have you been doing the Edinburgh Fringe?

Pretty Knickers Productions have been performing at the Fringe since 2016. Our little show ‘OUT’ first arrived at the Free Fringe, and we’ve been bringing productions back ever since. Now, we’re on at Underbelly and it’s been an amazing journey to get here. 

How do you cope with the overwhelming chaos that the Fringe brings?

Luckily, as Edinburgh residents we are able to escape the Fringe madness at times and spend quality time with friends and family. 

 

What sort of shows will you see if you have time?

We always look to support emerging Scottish artists – particularly female/LGBTQ led productions!

 

Have you performed at any other Fringe’s? If so, which has been your favourite so far?

We haven’t performed at any other Fringes – hopefully in the future, we can make the circuit happen – but for right now, ED Fringe is still our fav ❤

Any advice to newbies about flyering?

Just go for it… don’t be disheartened if people ignore you! Also, flyering in costume always draws people’s attention!
