Comedian Lily Phillips’ is bringing her show Crying to the Edinburgh Fringe.  It runs from 30th July – 12th August at Monkey Barrel.

What’s your show called for Edinburgh Fringe 2025?

Crying

 

How long have you been doing the Edinburgh Fringe?

Yearsssss in different forms. I used to do a big cabaret show with a band and costume changes then I got lazy and did stand up.

 

How do you cope with the overwhelming chaos that the Fringe brings?

Have a baby so you don’t have time to go to the toilet let alone panic about your poster.

 

What sort of shows will see if you have time?

I’ve booked for Michelle wolf and Bridget christie so far and will hit the free fringe hard.

 

Have you performed at any other Fringe’s? If so which has been your favourite so far?

When I did cabaret we were invited to The Orlando Fringe festival – which was incredible, so many diverse acts and exciting energy and it didn’t rain once.

 

Any advice to newbies about flyering?

Exit flyer shows similar to yours (ask first though!)

 

What are your plans for the show after the Edinburgh Fringe?

I’m going to film it and slap it on the internet I guess. Maybe a little tour too?
