What’s your show called for Edinburgh Fringe 2025?
Rose+Bud
How long have you been doing the Edinburgh Fringe?
This is our very first time!
How do you cope with the overwhelming chaos that the Fringe brings?
We’ve insisted the other Northern Irish artists be our friends so they have to make us tea and let us trauma-dump. We’ve also a cousin in Glasgow so if it’s too much we’ll go watch tv in their flat.
What sort of shows will you see if you have time?
I’m definitely going to catch the other northern Irish works that are coming to the fringe.
Anthem for this dis-satisfaction.
This Sh*t happens all the time.
Shame show.
We are all artist and friends back home. It’s so lovely to see class work getting class recognition.
I’m excited to see new Cabaret Work and also Work that surprises me we’ve been told not to plan too far ahead as you might go and decide to see a show 20 minutes before it starts so I’m trying to take a free approach the things I haven’t seen before or might not usually go to.
Have you performed at any other Fringe’s? If so, which has been your favourite so far?
I’ve only ever performed before in Dublin fringe when I took my own show in 2022 and then Rose+Bud there last year. It was class.
I’m really excited to get to spend this time in Edinburgh for the first time, I’ve been warned fringe is completely different but I’m really excited to see what it holds and to get to know the city!
Any advice to newbies about flyering?
Hah, as newbies ourselves let us know! I’ve been told to just always carry a flyer in your bag. And remember your bag,
What are your plans for the show after the Edinburgh Fringe?
Sleep and then get ready for my UK, worldwide tour which some brilliant queer-ally producer arranges for us.
