How long have you been doing the Edinburgh Fringe?
This is my second Ed Fringe!
How do you cope with the overwhelming chaos that the Fringe brings?
I embrace it! Just like the peloton in cycling and in the show, the chaos presents opportunities. The plethora of shows and creatives in one place makes for an inspiring and bubble-like experience. It thrives in those situations and it’s also why I’ve brought this show to premiere at the Fringe!
What sort of shows will see if you have time?
Many! Last year I saw 70, whilst performing myself in a musical every day. But in terms of what sort of shows? Plays. I fear that plays are going out of fashion due to the rising costs of production and a changing audience. I want to support other new plays and new writing. This is the art form that I fell in love with, strive to make and am most interested in, so I’ll be seeking those out.
Have you performed at any other Fringe? If so which has been your favourite so far?
New York Fringe &
Capital Fringe (D.C) with Starcrossed which then transferred to London’s Wilton’s Music Hall and had a successful run! The highlight of my career so far started at these Fringe’s and went on to London.
Any advice to newbies about flyering?
Be specific about how you flyer, when you flyer and where you flyer. Don’t burn out. Get help if you can.
What are your plans for the show after the Edinburgh Fringe?
We have plans for the show already in motion! An Australian premiere, a London run and a New York run are all in the works!!! The show is designed for the fringe as a launch-off point, with the future in mind. We are ambitious but also believe there is a real place for the show on these stages.

Additional about the play.
I ride on stage for the whole show, every night. On the actual bike, Cadel Evans rode in the Tour de France to victory and in the actual kit, he wore….Phil Liggett (“the voice of the Tour de France”) has contributed with additional commentary and both he and Cadel himself have endorsed the play.
It’s an honour to bring his story to life on stage in a truly theatrical way. I hope it brings the audiences of sport and theatre together!
