Tom Short wants to be a Success. I think most people performing at the Edinburgh Fringe want the same, or do they? Short wants to use his show to be a Success in helping him gain entry into the Guinness Book of Records.

James, from the Guinness Book of Records, has been sent to time and monitor Short’s performance to see if he can obtain his dream and finally succeed at one of his tries to allow him to enter the book and fulfil his life ambition. The grape attempt is extremely funny and I was slightly concerned as his face started to change colour.

Throw as much heckling as you like at Short. He doesn’t falter once and handles every single comment with calm and humour. He is totally in control of what appears to be a “slightly” out-of-control show.

The audience numbers today were small. However, a couple were returning after seeing his show last year and loved Short’s comedy which is a huge compliment. Although I am not surprised as Smart is very funny and despite the chaotic appearance he is completely in control of the show.

If you fancy a trip into the Caves this Edinburgh Fringe then Success is well worth going to see and watch as Short Attempts to get into the Guinness Book of Records.
