Jury Duty takes place in Theatre Deli which is in the perfect location for a crime-based immersive theatre experience, where the outcome lays in.your hands. As it is set in the heart of the legal sector with the famous and formidable Royal Courts of Justice close by.
From the moment you enter the jury room your Jury Duty Immersive theatre experience begins. Folders are laid out, all the sealed evidence bags are there and a large whiteboard wall to write down gathered evidence. However, that’s all I am going to disclose about what is in the room.
Our jury comprised of only five members instead of around 10 which in reality wasn’t enough for the level of evidence to work through although we managed to crack a huge amount and make a lot of connections. I could have easily stayed for another hour and 90 minutes soon went and we were being called upon to give our verdict. Sorry, no spoilers will be divulged here.
The discussions after the night’s event will probably continue over the next few days. As my daughter who accompanied me enjoyed the experience and we went over some of the evidence on which we had different opinions.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jury Duty to anyone. Although, I do advise that you are prepared to work hard and challenge yourself. Don’t be surprised if you change your mind several times as to whether the accused, Harry Briggs is guilty or innocent as you as the jury uncover information about the crime that took place, I know I certainly did.

HOW IT WORKS
Jury Duty players are invited to join other players at a central London office location to take part in a new form of jury service. Live actors greet them and will assist, but not guide, their deliberations.
Players are presented with physical evidence, sworn statements, and a computer database relating to a fictional crime.
Players interrogate a Defendant several times, and are encouraged to cross-reference with the evidence.
When the time is up, players are asked to vote on their verdict!
