Professional musician Tom Veck’s one-man performance at the Edinburgh Fringe called What the Veck is a musical comedy looking at life, current affairs and the things people throw away with a comedic outlook.
A confessed skip jumper, who enjoys having a look at what is in there and whether he can find the odd “gem” which he can reutilise, he even introduces his friends to try it and some even quite like it too.
Veck looks at his own family dynamics and shares stories and comedy moments with the audience. He is the first to admit he isn’t perfect, but then who is?
Every audience member is presented with a raffle ticket as you sit down which lets you take part in his famous “Naffle” where he shares the wealth of his rummage or charity shop finds, invariably with things you can’t even give away. Who knows what you might be lucky enough to win!
For a fun comedy evening show, Veck offers a varied selection of entertainment and music. Be warned if you saw him out in the day and shared some dark secrets with him there’s a good chance you might be in the show that evening sharing them with others.
