Biscuit Barrel:The69-Conedy Sketch Show does exactly what the title says. You are thrust into a madcap hour with 69 comedy sketches coming at you from all directions. Don’t say you haven’t been forewarned!

Throughout the performance, there’s a burglar on the loose who rushes across stealing the Biscuit Barrel’s props and cardboard staging. We’re never particularly sure why but it adds another dimension to the comedy.

Sketches range from the Titanic having a polite conversation with the Iceberg asking it to move, a forgotten key fob with keys and a bottle opener all joined together discussing whose the most important to a tube journey where one of the cast is in the wrong scene (deliberately).

The Comedy company have a fantastic onstage rapport and their fast-paced sketches are excellent with plenty of laughs, evidence of this could be heard through the audience as on literally howled with laughter. Plus, If you’re not enjoying one sketch then it’s only seconds before another one starts which you probably will enjoy.

69 sketches in the hour performance is an incredible achievement and the amount of work and timing to perfect their routine is highly commendable. Another excellent comedy show is available during the Edinburgh Fringe 2023.
